Patrick and Elliot are the founders of Crush Crime, a non-profit organization specializing in crime prevention, community safety, and the repossession of stolen goods in the Crossroads Township and surrounding areas. Both were active in the anti-apartheid struggle, leading and organizing protests. After serving decades-long sentences in prison, the two have dedicated their lives to the goal of making Crossroads “crime-free.” Understanding crime as a central obstacle to investment and development in the township, Patrick and Elliot founded Crush Crime to uplift their community and create a brighter future for the next generations in Crossroads.
